There is no need to help the Russian Federation: Podolyak appealed to Elon Musk

The adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, accused the American businessman, the owner of the Twitter social network, of the fact that the platform reduces the reach of Ukrainian official accounts.

"Ilon Max, maybe it is enough to pessimize Ukrainian official accounts and forcefully reduce coverage? Everything is too obvious... There is no need to help talentless ru-propaganda. It will not help them, and Twitter's reputation is dying. Maybe we need a regulator who will explain the rules of competition to the owner?"

In October 2022, billionaire Elon Musk closed a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter.

Musk has promised to cut staff and costs at Twitter, and boost product innovation in an effort to create a "super app" that includes payments, commerce and messaging. He announced that he plans to relax the rules of content moderation, in particular to cancel "eternal bans".

Last November, he also stated that the social network should become the most accurate source of information.
