It is noted that the money was provided on preferential terms from the International Development Association. The raised funds will make it possible to reimburse the priority social expenses of the state budget.

 The World Bank provided Ukraine with additional financing in the amount of 189.32 million euros.

 This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Finance, published on May 8.

 The money was provided as part of the Financing Agreement between Ukraine and the International Development Association (IDA).

 The loan repayment period is 10 years with a 4-year grace period.

 According to the head of the Ministry of Finance, Serhii Marchenko, the funds will be directed to pay employees of state bodies and budget institutions, including educators.

 We will remind you that the head of the government Denys Shmyhal said that the World Bank will become one of the key partners in the reconstruction of Ukraine and will finance at least three large-scale projects.
