Russian President Vladimir Putin is making a mistake by trying to improve relations with North Korean President Kim Jong-un. He is the worst possible ally for Russia. This was stated by Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in an interview with ANSA.
"Russia is looking for support, including military support, and allies, and it has turned to the worst possible partner in the person of Kim Jong-un," Tajani said.
He reminded that North Korea is taking an aggressive stance in the Indo-Pacific region, and its constant missile launches and threats are condemned around the world.
"Russia is isolated, but it is trying to get out of this isolation. For the free world, it is an aggressive force. China is also concerned about Moscow's behavior. Last week, I asked the Chinese foreign minister to advise Russia (to listen - ed.) wise advice," the Italian foreign minister added.
