Today, September 14, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko left for Russia to meet with President Vladimir Putin, which is scheduled for Friday. This was reported by the Belarusian news agency BELTA.

The main topics of discussion will be international issues, regional problems and common economic tasks, including "a lot of work in the field of import substitution." 

Last time Putin and Lukashenko met in July in Russia. Lukashenko was participating in the Russia-Africa summit.
