Lukashenko announced the "stabilization of the situation" with fuel in Russia

At a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that his country had supplied Russia with 60,000 tons of gasoline and diesel fuel, which, in his opinion, "stabilized the situation" with fuel in the common markets. This was reported in the Telegram channel "Pul One".

"I would like to inform you that there were not only interruptions, but also some difficulties in the fuel market. We have stabilized the situation, supplied as much as Russia needed, as much as the government asked for, in my opinion, 60 thousand tons of diesel fuel and gasoline each, and we will stabilize the situation in our common markets," Lukashenko said.

He also noted that Belarusian fuel producers could reduce supplies to foreign markets and increase domestic consumption, including supplies to Russia, if necessary.

During his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Lukashenko also acknowledged some deterioration in the economic situation in Russia and Belarus due to the sanctions.

He noted that he and Putin now have hope of reaching a level without sanctions.

Lukashenko also added that many issues related to the Ukrainian conflict have been resolved, and they know which direction to move in.
