Checkpoints and security exercises are being deployed in Kyiv to ensure public safety

From December 25 to 28, law enforcement officers will conduct security exercises in different districts of Kyiv. In particular, they will deploy temporary checkpoints and check transport and documents. This was reported by KCMA.

"In times of war, the protection and security of Kyiv and its residents is a crucial task. And its solution requires constant improvement of skills, interaction and combat capability of all structures that ensure the defense of the capital," said Serhiy Popko, head of the KCMA.

The exercises include the installation of temporary checkpoints, restrictive signs, engineering barriers, as well as practicing elements of transport and document checks and checkpoint protection.

The measures are aimed at improving the coordination system and ensuring effective interaction between various services to maintain the safety of citizens in the face of a possible escalation of the situation.

The joint training is an important step in the direction of increasing readiness for challenges and ensuring effective protection of Kyiv residents.
