Fire in a recreation center in Ivano-Frankivsk region: children from Kyiv were staying there

A fire broke out at night in a recreation center in Ivano-Frankivsk region, where children from Kyiv were vacationing. This was reported by the head of the KCMA, Serhiy Popko.


At the time of the fire, 148 children from the capital were staying there.


On the evening of September 25, rescuers received information about a fire in the building of the recreation center. All children and staff were evacuated from the building. The fire was extinguished.


The children were transported to the nearest children's camp, where they were served breakfast and provided with basic necessities. A trip home was organized for them.


They will leave for Kyiv tonight and will be home tomorrow morning, September 27. For children who cannot be picked up by their parents from the station in person, transportation will be provided from the station to their areas of residence. None of the children were injured.
