Ivano-Frankivsk region moves into the "red zone"

On the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk region from 00 h. 00 min. January 24, the epidemic danger level is red. This decision was taken at an extraordinary meeting of the State Commission for technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies on January 21. This is reported by the Governmental portal.

 

As noted by the Minister of Health Victor Lyashko, in the region there is an excess of signs of epidemic danger in three signs.

 

"The number of hospitalized patients with confirmed and suspected cases of coronavirus infection in the last seven days per 100 thousand population, which is 76% - 86%, the hospitalization rate of 92-101%. The excess is also established on detection of positive cases of infection with COVID-19 out of all tested", - the Minister noted.

 

Thus, according to the results of the reports heard and taking into account the discussions of the Commission on TES and Emergencies, it was decided to establish the red level of epidemic danger of spread of COVID-19 in the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk region from 00:00 a.m., January 24, 2022.

 

Restrictive anti-epidemic measures provided for this level of epidemic danger will be applied in the region.

 

The head of the Regional State Administration has been instructed to ensure compliance with relevant restrictive anti-epidemic measures. And also to strengthen control over the deployment of additional beds, especially in children's institutions.
