The German government has instructed Rheinmetall to supply 20 additional Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine. The corresponding message was published on the company's website.

It is noted that the order was placed in March 2024, its value is not directly disclosed, but it is a "double-digit number in millions of euros."

The delivery of a batch of 20 infantry fighting vehicles is scheduled for 2024. The concern said that Ukraine has ordered the 1A3 Marder version, equipped with an integrated laser rangefinder that allows for efficient and accurate target destruction.

The company has already delivered the first 20 such combat vehicles to Ukraine on behalf of the German government in March 2023.
