Brigadier General Hennadii Shapovalov has been appointed commander of the Operational Command "South". This was announced by the Operational Command "South" on Facebook.
The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, introduced the newly appointed commander to the personnel of the operational command "South".
Pavliuk thanked Shapovalov's predecessor, Major General Andriy Kovalchuk, emphasized the achievements of the personnel of the operational command "South" and congratulated him on his appointment to the post of the Chief of the Military Academy (Odesa).
