Bezuhla made a statement about the men who left: If you don't see yourself as Ukrainians, hand in your passport

MP Marianna Bezuhla called on Ukrainian men abroad to fulfill their military duty to Ukraine. Otherwise, they should renounce Ukrainian citizenship. She expressed this opinion in the program of the YouTube project "Topic with Moseychuk".

"This war does not lie on the shoulders of the government, the president, the military or volunteers alone. This war is on the shoulders of everyone who has made a decision to remain a Ukrainian and that their children will remain Ukrainian. I will say my personal opinion: if you do not see yourself as Ukrainians, hand over your passport and leave. Stay in another country," the MP said.

Bezuhla also mentioned the results of a poll she conducted on her social media: "We realize that this is not a professional study, there may be a large error. But it reflects the trends. A few months ago, I asked people if they are ready to give up their citizenship in exchange for non-mobilization. And 70% said yes."

She explained that no one is currently demanding Ukrainians to return from abroad.

"All they ask is to update their data. First of all, why: there is a pool of people to rely on. So come and update this data, and we will know that you are abroad," Bezuhla said.

She emphasized that she had seen Ukrainians' outrage at consulates in Poland, but she had not seen protests from Ukrainians when Poles blocked the border, and she did not understand whether these people even consider themselves Ukrainians.

"Perhaps they want to dissolve in the European environment and forget about their roots," the MP said.
