Russian assault groups broke through to the territory of the refractory plant in Krasnohorivka, but they are blocked there. This was reported by Lieutenant Colonel Nazar Voloshyn, spokesman for the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops, during a telethon. 

“The enemy broke through into the city with small assault groups and settled on the territory of the refractory plant. Thanks to the efforts of our units, in particular the 59th Brigade, the enemy was blocked and is still there. Our defenders have full fire control over both Krasnohorivka and the outskirts of the settlement,” said Voloshyn.

He claims that Russian attack aircraft were cut off from ammunition supplies.

“I can say more, over the past day our defenders of this particular brigade destroyed about 30 enemies in this area, just on the approaches to Krasnohorivka,” emphasized Voloshyn.

He also said that Russians are conducting assaults near Netaylove and are trying to storm the eastern part of Pervomayske.

“Near Nevelske they are also coming in small groups, counterattacking, our soldiers are repelling them,” said Voloshyn.
