Ukraine's Infrastructure Ministry and Poland's Infrastructure and Development Ministry have agreed to cancel permits for all carriers carrying international fuel shipments, the Infrastructure Ministry's press service said Friday.
"Russian missile strikes on oil refineries and oil depots have created a critical situation in the fuel market. The goal of the Ministry of Infrastructure team in these circumstances is the full liberalization of international cargo transportation to solve this problem. New rules are already in force, and their benefits can take advantage of both Ukrainian and Polish carriers. I thank the Polish side for the constructive work", - Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov is quoted as saying.
According to him, the work on the simplification of cargo transportation and the creation of the most simple and understandable rules for the carriers of goods necessary for Ukraine will be continued.
For permit-free entry into the territory of Poland fuel transporters must register by filling out a form.
It is necessary to fill out the form no later than one day before crossing the border.
