Google released a doodle dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine. Its author was Kharkiv artist Olga Shtonda, the press service of the company informs.

 "Today's doodle, illustrated by Kharkiv artist Olga Shtonda, is dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day. On this day in 1991, Ukrainian politicians signed the Act of Declaration of Independence and hung their state flag in the meeting hall of the Verkhovna Rada, signifying the country's exit from the Soviet Union. The national holiday honors all, who gave their lives for the Motherland, including those who are fighting to this day," the message reads.
