EU Foreign Ministers did not agree on €5 billion in military aid to Kyiv in 2024 - Borrell

At today's summit in Kyiv, EU foreign ministers failed to agree on the allocation of 5 billion euros in military aid to Ukraine for the next year. This was announced at a press conference following the event by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.


He said that he intends to reach this agreement by the end of the year.


Borrell also confirmed the EU's intention to train approximately 40,000 Ukrainian military personnel, including pilots for F-16s, by the end of the year.
