On the night of December 7-8, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area and S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"A total of seven Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs and six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles were launched. The direction of attack of the Shahed UAVs is Dnipropetrovsk region, and the direction of attack of the anti-aircraft guided missiles is Kharkiv region," the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.

It is reported that the forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 5 enemy attack UAVs.

Several loud explosions were heard in Kharkiv last night. Shortly after the first explosion, an air alert was declared in the region. 

It is reported that the Russians have launched 6 strikes on Kharkiv. The hits were recorded in Kholodnohirsky and Shevchenkivsky districts of the city.

A 36-year-old woman was wounded in the shelling of Kharkiv. She received medical assistance on the spot. Another wounded man, a 25-year-old man, was hospitalized with explosive injuries. His health condition is satisfactory.
