Coordination Headquarters reacts to reports of Ukrainian prisoners on board crashed IL-76: information is being verified

The Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War responded to Russia's statement about the downing of an IL-76 aircraft with "Ukrainian prisoners on board." They neither confirmed nor denied the information provided by the Russian Defense Ministry.


"The Coordination Headquarters and other specialized structures are collecting and analyzing all the necessary information. Until official statements or comments are made public by authorized persons or bodies, we urge the media and citizens to refrain from spreading unverified information," the statement said.


The agency also reminded that the Russians are actively conducting information special operations against Ukraine aimed at destabilizing Ukrainian society.
