AFU denies MP's statement that Russians entered Robotyne

A deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council spread information that Russians had entered the village of Robotyne. The Ukrainian Armed Forces responded to the deputy's statement.

"The statement of the deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council that as a result of the assault, Russians entered the village of Robotyne and actually established themselves there is not true," the Defense Forces said.

The military emphasized that in the area of responsibility of the 65th separate mechanized brigade, which defends Robotyne, there are regular clashes with Russian subversive reconnaissance groups that enter the village and try to gain a foothold there, but are unsuccessful.

"Today this settlement is held by the Ukrainian defense forces. So the enemy does not control it," the military emphasized.

The Defense Forces of the South called on citizens and media representatives not to rely on "pseudo-expert opinions of those who are not directly involved in combat operations and do not know the operational situation."

As a reminder, on April 9, Zaporizhzhia Regional Council deputy Serhiy Lyshenko said in a commentary to the media that the Russians had broken through in Robotyne and that fighting was already taking place in the village.
