Russian Ambassador to the USA warned Elon Musk about nuclear response in case of Ukrainian attack on Crimea - Forbes

Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov told Elon Musk directly that a Ukrainian attack on Crimea would lead to a nuclear response. American billionaire and SpaceX founder Elon Musk told his biographer Walter Isaacson about this, Forbes reports.

"The ambassador told him directly that a Ukrainian attack on Crimea would lead to a nuclear response," Isaacson said.

Musk said that escalation in Ukraine "could lead to nuclear war - with Starlink partially responsible". He explained to the biographer that Ukrainian manufacturers have developed a squadron of robotic unmanned submarines "filled with explosives." These drones, according to the entrepreneur, are capable of autonomously crossing the Black Sea and ambushing the Russian fleet.

It is noted that Ukraine has redesigned SpaceX's Starlink satellite system to develop advanced navigation technology to control these boats during a secret mission. When it turned out that Starlink coverage was turned off in the vicinity of Crimea, Kyiv "begged" Musk to activate it and was refused.

Musk warned President Volodymyr Zelensky on the X social network that "an attempt to return Crimea will lead to mass deaths, probably failure, and the risk of nuclear war." The billionaire assured the Russian ambassador that "Starlink was used only for defense purposes."
