Polish farmers resume traffic on the border with Ukraine, but grain transportation is restricted

Polish farmers have resumed traffic at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint on the border with Ukraine, allowing trucks to cross the border again. However, restrictions remain in place for vehicles transporting grain crops.

According to the press service of the SBGS and its spokesman, Andriy Demchenko, traffic through the Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska checkpoint has resumed, and border clearance procedures are being carried out as usual. However, Polish farmers continue to prevent trucks transporting grain crops from entering Poland itself. Such vehicles can pass through Poland only in transit mode.

Demchenko emphasized that this is the only direction that remained blocked at the beginning of today, and its unblocking means the full resumption of traffic on the border with Poland.

Currently, there is an intense traffic of trucks through the Rava-Ruska checkpoint in both directions, especially in the morning.
