By May 9, the Russians will go on the offensive in several areas, as Russian President Vladimir Putin has a “deadline”. This was stated by Ivan Shevtsov, head of the press service of the Steel Border border detachment.

“Indeed, it is on the eve of May 9 that the enemy plans to launch another offensive, both in the east of the country and in other directions. However, the Defense Forces, in particular the border guards, are ready to meet the aggressor,” the speaker said.

Shevtsov spoke about the alleged Russian army offensive on Kharkiv. He said that 75 kilometers from the border, in the Belgorod region, Russians are building a new airfield. In addition, the concentration of Russian troops in this direction has increased. But despite this, the speaker claims that quite powerful fortifications are being built on that part of the border that will withstand attacks.

“Most of our units are currently on rotation. We are preparing, recuperating and will again give a powerful repulse to the enemy,” emphasized Shevtsov.

The speaker said that there is currently no way to combat the guided aerial bombs that are shelling Kharkiv.
