The Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine has updated the conditions for booking employees working at defense companies.
The ministry's press service reported that according to the new order, which came into force on May 17, 2024, the criteria for booking employees have changed. Now, companies engaged in the production, repair and modernization of defense equipment must meet the new requirements.
According to the updated rules, companies must have a contract with a state customer for the production of defense goods or receive financial support from the state in the form of grants. It is also important that more than half of the company's production is defense-related.
These changes expand the opportunities for companies that develop innovative technologies in the defense sector and provide them with a wide range of opportunities for cooperation with government agencies.
