U.S. Embassy warns of Russian military activity on the border with Ukraine

The US embassy in Ukraine has warned US citizens about unusual Russian military activity near Ukraine's borders and in occupied Crimea, the US embassy in Ukraine has said in its travel advisory. This was reported by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

 

"U.S. citizens are being notified of disturbing reports of unusual Russian military activity near Ukraine's borders and in occupied Crimea. Recommendations for travel to Ukraine remain at 4 - do not travel to Crimea due to abuses by the Russian occupation authorities, to the eastern parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions due to armed conflict, and to Ukraine in general due to Covid-19," the U.S. Embassy to Ukraine said in a statement on its website. 

 

The diplomatic office also reminds U.S. citizens that security conditions at the border may change "on short notice or without any notice.
