From today Ukrainians aged 60 years and older will be able to spend the "covid thousand" on drugs

The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the areas in which you can receive services under the program "ePidtrimka". Now Ukrainians over the age of 60 will be able to buy medicine for the "kovid" thousand. This was discussed at a government meeting on January 19, writes UNN.

People aged 60 and over will be able to buy both prescription and over-the-counter drugs for "kovidna" thousand.

Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov said that banks will check the age of the person at the time of payment.

"When exactly did you sign up for the card - it does not matter, as long as you are 60 years old at the time of purchase of drugs," he wrote.
