Yesterday's brawl at a meeting of the Land Commission of the Odesa City Council, initiated by MP Artem Dmitruk (excluded from "People's Servants", is now a member of the "Reasonable Politics" Dmitry Razumkov), is associated with the defense of the interests of real estate developer Adnan Kivan.

The formal reason for the disruption of the meetings of the land commission by force was a violation of the regulations for its formation. A month ago this commission was reconstituted to remove from its composition the undesirable deputy Vladimir Kornienko.

However, in his comments Dmytruk was primarily indignant about two projects - land allocation for MAFs and a land plot of sanatorium of frontier guards in Arcadia. Exactly these two questions were withdrawn from consideration at a meeting of the commission, which after the pogrom was held in another room of the City Hall.

It should be mentioned that in May 2021 the frontier guards already tried to give 5,8 ha of land in Arcadia allegedly for repairing the buildings of the sanatorium, but for some reason with the change of the land purpose. Then the opposition deputies to Mayor Trukhanov and the party "Trust in Deeds" have smelled another swindle and refused to vote for consent to the land diversion. To all appearances, changing the purpose of the frontier guards` sanatorium land will open the way to its construction to developers close to the city authorities.

And, as we know, Odesa businessman of Syrian origin Adnan Kivan does not hide his hatred for Odesa mayor Gennady Trukhanov, members of his team and "Trukhanov" developers. It should also be noted that, according to sources, MP Dmitruk is on Kivan's payroll and has repeatedly been seen to be vehemently defending the interests of his patron.

As a result, Adnan Kiwan's company did not find another possible competitor in the development of the Arkadia district with high-rise buildings.
