Stefanchuk discussed with MEPs opposition to "NSP2"

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk discussed with a delegation of representatives of the European Parliament to counter "Nord Stream-2", reports Ukrinform.

"I am glad to see a delegation of representatives of the European Parliament in the walls of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This meeting is very timely. I appreciate the support of Ukraine from the European Union, which helps to curb the appetite of the Russian Federation," Stefanchuk said on Facebook.

The sides also discussed cybersecurity, the energy crisis and countering Nord Stream 2.

"When one of the scales is economic interest and the other is security and peace in Europe, you have to make the right decision," Stefanchuk said.

He also thanked the EU and European Parliament for their support of the Crimean platform and their willingness to participate in the work of the platform in order to strengthen the policy of non-recognition of the temporary occupation of Crimea.
