Ukraine has already recorded 4.78 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19, an increase of 25 thousand a day, February 22, which is slightly more than the previous day. Of those sick within a day: 2,427 children and 665 health workers.

At the same time there are more people recovered per day than diseased - more than 37 thousand, a trend holds for the third day. This is reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

"For a day on February 22 in Ukraine recorded 25,062 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19," - said in the message.

Also over the past 24 hours:

hospitalized - 3 140 people;

fatal cases - 297;

37,432 people recovered.

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

fallen ill - 4,783,835 people;

4 023 033 people recovered;

Fatal cases - 105 229;

PCR tests were conducted - 19,477,406.

During the last day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kiev city (3699), Dnipropetrovsk (2343), Poltava (1686), Donetsk (1523) and Cherkassy (1323) regions.

Also, according to the Ministry of Health, 62,935 people in Ukraine were vaccinated against COVID-19 during the day on February 22. The first dose was given to 16,844 people, the second dose to 27,071 people, an additional dose to 598 people and a booster dose to 18,422 people.
