The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided at an extraordinary meeting to put into effect a civil protection plan under martial law. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal during a briefing.

 

"At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers it was decided to enact a civil protection plan under martial law. The decision was taken for the most effective defense of the state and protection of the population in the conditions of military action against the Russian aggressor," Shmygal said.

 

According to him, the decision will allow maximum coordination of all authorities, regional state administrations under martial law.

 

"In addition, it makes it possible to direct all necessary resources and quickly and effectively use it for the needs of our defense. Regional state administrations have been instructed to intensify work on the evacuation of civilians in places of active hostilities," Shmygal said.
