China condemned the sanctions imposed on Iran by the European Union and Great Britain for supplying Russia with kamikaze drones, which are used for attacks on Ukraine. This was stated by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Wenbing.

 "China opposes illegal unilateral sanctions imposed without the mandate of the UN Security Council and the foundations of international law. In the current circumstances, we call for calm and moderation from all interested parties," he said.

 Wenbing noted that China encourages and supports all diplomatic efforts that contribute to the peaceful settlement of the "crisis in Ukraine", as well as efforts to work together in the direction of de-escalation.
