The mandatory military registration of women in a number of professions, which will be introduced in Ukraine in October, cannot be equated with mobilization. This was reported by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
The military reminds that back in October 2022, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that provides for the registration of women of certain professions at their request.
The document introduced rules according to which women with medical or pharmaceutical specialties who are fit for military service for health reasons and age are subject to military registration.
The military emphasized that military registration is the implementation of changes in legislation and the accounting of the existing reserve of medical professionals in the country.
