Lukashenko explains why Belarus does not join the war against Ukraine

Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that he would not enter the war against Ukraine on the side of Russia because of powerful fortifications, minefields, and a large military grouping on the border. This is stated in a video of his conversation with Lukashenko, which was posted by Pavel Zarubin on Telegram.

"If we were to go to war against Ukraine today, it wouldn't do anything. Because they (Ukrainians - ed.) have the border with Belarus barricaded so that it is impossible to get there," Lukashenko said.

According to him, the border is completely mined and concreted. Lukashenko also estimated the number of Ukrainian troops on the Belarusian border at 120,000.

"Well, they want to throw the troops on the border to the front against Russia, and put the French here. We are waiting," Lukashenko said.
