Rada deputies discuss Bezuhla's possible dismissal for criticizing chief Zaluzhnyi

The Rada proposes to remove Marianna Bezuhla from the post of deputy head of the National Security and Defense Committee because of her criticism of Chief of Staff Zaluzhnyi. This was reported by Oleksiy Kucherenko (Batkivshchyna).

Iryna Friz (Eurosolidarity) also proposes to remove Bezuhla from the post of the head of the subcommittee on democratic civilian oversight and control.

In a comment to "Kraina", the head of the Committee on Regulations, Serhiy Kalchenko (Servant of the People), said whether the committee would consider Bezuhla's scandalous statements.

"The Regulatory Committee always considers issues related to changes in the composition of the committee. This is done when there is a draft resolution. If it is considered," Kalchenko said.

He commented on his personal opinion on Bezuhla's statements.

"The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, once said a good phrase when talking about freedom of expression, he said that this freedom also implies responsibility for what a person says. Especially when it concerns a member of parliament, especially when we live in a full-scale war. That is why everyone should be careful and accurate with their statements," Kalchenko said.

Earlier, we reported that the Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi has no war plan for 2024 and therefore should resign. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense, MP from the Servant of the People party Marianna Bezuhla, referring to a non-public discussion with the military.
