Debris clearing after missile strike at Dnipro HPP continues for fifth day, - Deputy Energy Minister

At the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant in Zaporizhzhia, debris removal has been going on for the fifth day after a Russian missile attack on March 22. This was reported by Deputy Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.

According to her, the plant continues to dismantle the rubble and assess the condition of the equipment.

She noted that the equipment that can be repaired will be restored, while the destroyed equipment is being replaced and repairs will be made as soon as possible.

Hrynchuk said that energy is the main target for the Russians, so Ukrainians should be ready for "different scenarios."

"Power engineers are doing everything possible to protect the facilities and restore the damaged ones, but we need to strengthen air defense," the deputy minister said.
