On March 26, the first meeting of representatives of the member countries of the "coalition of armored vehicles" in support of Ukraine took place in Warsaw, with the Ukrainian delegation headed by Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk. This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.


"Coalition of armored vehicles" aims to strengthen the armored shield of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, to jointly increase the capabilities of our army in the fight against the Russian aggressor, to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and weapons provided to us by our allies," Havryliuk said.


The meeting developed a consolidated position on strengthening the technical park of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with certain armored vehicles and organizing a system for their repair.


Four syndicates have been created within the coalition, each with different tasks: supplying weapons and ammunition for Western armored vehicles; maintenance and repair; training crews and technicians; and developing effective tactics for using armored vehicles on the battlefield.


In the long run, the member countries of the Tank Coalition and Armored Vehicle Coalition will help create the future armored park of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and establish an innovative industrial partnership with Ukraine.
