Poroshenko demands the recall and dismissal of Prystayk from his ambassadorial post

The story with the statement of Ukraine's ambassador to Great Britain got its continuation. Former Ukrainian President and MP Petro Poroshenko said on his Twitter: "If Prystayko is still in London tomorrow, then the rejection of NATO is Zelensky's position".

Also Petro Poroshenko demanded that Volodymyr Zelensky fired Vadym Prystayko.

He said this at a meeting of the conciliation council.

"For the first time since the revolution of dignity the official representative of Ukraine in the international arena makes a statement about the rejection of NATO. With this, the Ukrainian ambassador showed that Putin's blackmail and intimidation of Ukraine works.

After the public outcry, a simple rebuttal will not be enough. The only way to prove that Prystayko's position is not that of the Ukrainian government and Zelensky is to immediately recall the ambassador from London and fire him from his job.

If Prystayko offers Ukraine to give up NATO, Ukraine had better offer Zelensky to give up such an ambassador," the former president noted.

We shall remind you that the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK, Vadym Prystayko, earlier said that Ukraine might refuse to join NATO if forced to do so by circumstances.

The Ukrainian Foreign and Commonwealth Office said that the words of the ambassador to the UK, Vadym Prystayko, were taken out of context and that the refusal to join NATO contradicted the Ukrainian constitution.
