The Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine warns of probable provocations by Russia - with reports of "mass extermination of civilians in ORDLO.

"To discredit Ukraine on the international arena, Russian media are reporting on provocations allegedly prepared by 'Ukrainian authorities with the support of Western countries. The Kremlin media says that Ukraine "will arrange an action with the mass extermination of civilians in the ORDLO." Specifically: "is preparing the shooting of a provocation with the shelling of ambulances in the Severodonetsk district," "will blow up chlorine tanks in the Popasnyansk district," the CNSD's CPD reported.

The Center to counter disinformation stressed that the rf is again trying to shift responsibility for the crimes committed to Ukraine. "Given that during the eight years of war in eastern Ukraine not a single Ukrainian government has considered the military option of returning the temporarily occupied territories, accusations of provocations by the Russian Federation are meaningless," the agency stressed.

"Russia will have to take responsibility for the extermination of the civilian population of Ukraine, as international courts are already working on the investigation of the crimes committed by the occupiers on the territory of our state," the CNSD Central Committee under the National Security and Defense Council noted.
