The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine terminated the agreement with Russia on cooperation in the development of checkpoints across the Ukrainian-Russian state border. There was also a withdrawal from the agreement on the supply of special equipment and other material means to the border troops of the member states of the Commonwealth. This was announced by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, in Telegram.
"The Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation and interaction in the field of development of checkpoints across the Ukrainian-Russian state border, made on October 18, 2011 in Donetsk, has been terminated," Melnychuk wrote.
Also, according to him, a withdrawal was made from the Agreement on preferential deliveries of special equipment of the Border Forces and other material means to the Border Troops of the Commonwealth of Nations member states, made on 09.09.1994 in Moscow.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine terminated the validity of two more agreements with Russia - one related to air traffic, and the other - the supply of aircraft equipment.
