No air pollution is recorded as a result of the nighttime attack on the infrastructure facility in Zhytomyr region. The measures introduced in the Zvyagel community are "preventive". This was reported by the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Bunechko, on Radio Liberty.
As Bunechko noted, the strike was made around 02:35. There were no casualties as a result of the shelling.
"The fact that you said that Zvyagel City Council recommended not to go out today and decided to provide distance learning for children is more of a "preventive measure" and a test to see if we can work in the face of possible escalation. There is no direct threat now, and an operational investigation team is already working to establish and record Russia's crimes against the country's peaceful infrastructure," the head of the RMA added.
Bunechko noted that no pollution that could pose a threat to the population is recorded. At the same time, an environmental inspection works in the region to identify and reassure citizens.
