Ukrainians can stay in Georgia without a visa for up to three years: new government decision

The Georgian government has increased the period of visa-free stay in the country for Ukrainian citizens to three years. This is stated in the government's decree No. 255 "On Approval of the List of Countries Whose Citizens Can Enter Georgia Without a Visa".

"Citizens of Ukraine have the right to enter Georgia without a visa and stay there for a full 3 years," the document says.

Previously, this period was limited to one year, and in February 2023, it was extended to two years.

It is reported that the resolution will come into force immediately after its publication.

It is worth noting that as of October 2023, there were about 27 thousand Ukrainian citizens in Georgia.
