From 18:00 in Ukraine, electricity will be cut off for industry and business: household consumers can also expect this

Ukrenergo informs that today it is forced to limit power supply to industry and business from 18:00 to 23:00. Power outages may also affect household consumers.

“The scope of restrictions will be distributed evenly among all regions. The reason for the restrictions is a shortage of electricity caused by a massive Russian missile and drone attack on energy facilities,” the statement said.

The NPC also warned of possible power outages for household consumers in case of an increase in energy consumption.

“WARNING! If consumption continues to increase in the evening, Ukrenergo will be forced to take an extreme measure to balance the power system - to apply emergency blackouts for household consumers throughout Ukraine,” the NPC emphasized and urged people to consume electricity sparingly from 18:00 to 23:00 to avoid blackouts.

Earlier we reported that after another  strike on the energy sector, blackout schedules may be introduced across Ukraine.
