Putin's spit in the face of the UN and Turkey: Foreign Ministry on this morning's missile attack on Odesa

This morning, the enemy attacked the Odesa Commercial Seaport with Kalibr cruise missiles; they hit the port's infrastructure facilities. Russia, with this missile strike, questioned the agreements it gave to the UN and Turkey in a document signed in Istanbul, said Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko.

"It took the Russian Federation less than 24 hours to question the agreements and promises it made to the UN and Turkey in the document signed yesterday in Istanbul with a missile strike on the territory of the port city of Odesa. The Russian missile is Vladimir Putin's spit in the face of UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Turkish President Recep Erdogan, who made great efforts to reach an agreement and to whom Ukraine is grateful," Nikolenko wrote on Facebook on Saturday.

He said that Ukraine stresses the need for strict implementation of agreements to resume safe exports of Ukrainian agricultural goods by the Black Sea from three ports, namely Odesa, Chernomorsk and Pivdenny.

"We call on the UN and Turkey to ensure Russia's compliance with its obligations within the framework of the safe functioning of the grain corridor. In case of non-fulfillment of the agreements reached, Russia will bear full responsibility for the deepening of the global food crisis", - stressed the Foreign Ministry spokesman.
