Duda is confident that Trump will be able to end the war in Ukraine in a day

Polish President Andrzej Duda is convinced that Donald Trump will be able to end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours if he is elected president of the United States in the elections this autumn, Polskie Radio reports.

During a visit to Rwanda on February 7, the Polish leader said at a press conference that Trump always fulfills his promises.

"Based on my personal experience as a president who worked with President Trump, I can say that what he promised me was fulfilled. So if I received a promise from Trump, if he promised me something, it was fulfilled," Duda said.

He also added that "Trump is serious in everything he says."

Duda was also asked about the potential threat of a Russian attack on Poland. He noted that potentially "such a threat theoretically exists given the situation where Russian imperialism has undoubtedly been revived and Russia has attacked Ukraine."

At the same time, in his opinion, such an attack should provoke a response from the entire North Atlantic Alliance.

"If Poland is weak, then the danger of such a potential attack will certainly increase. If Poland is strong, has a strong, well-equipped army, then the probability will obviously decrease dramatically," the president added.
