Due to the lack of congressional approval of new US military aid, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will face "difficult decisions on withdrawal from a number of territories." This was stated by Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh during a briefing.

A representative of the US Department of Defense noted that Ukraine may have to make strategic decisions to withdraw troops from certain areas in order to strengthen its defense lines.

"Now Ukraine has to make strategic decisions to withdraw from certain areas to strengthen its defense lines. These are really difficult, difficult decisions that they have to make because we cannot provide them with the necessary capabilities and systems because we do not have such permission from Congress," Singh said.


The Pentagon spokesperson emphasized that the best way out of the situation "is for Congress to approve additional funding so that we can continue to provide weapons packages."
