Russians fired on two ambulances and used weapons against medics

Russian occupants fired on two ambulances and used weapons against medics at a psychiatric hospital, Ukrainian Health Ministry head Viktor Lyashko said.

 

"The aggressor continues shelling emergency medical teams and hospitals on Ukrainian territory," Lyashko said during a video address to international organizations.

 

Lyashko stressed that the aggressor shelled the ambulance in Zaporizhzhia region and in the north of the Kiev region.

 

"Fortunately there were no casualties among medical workers. But in the north of the Kiev region in the village of Maryanovka can not get medical care injured residents of Ukraine", - he said.

 

Also, the aggressor used weapons against medics at the psychiatric hospital in Chernihiv, the Ukrainian minister added.

 

"All this is a violation of the Geneva Conventions, all this is unacceptable," Lyashko said and called to condemn the actions of the Russian occupiers and prevent further Russian aggression.
